Punch Drunk.

Not much mini-ing has gone on over the past couple of weeks as I decided to have a "set to" in my workshop. Whether or not that was a good idea I've yet to make my mind up. I have so much stash, it's obscene! I've enough ribbon to start a shop and what on earth possessed me to keep the tiny scraps of material that were left over after doing a project I'll never know.   I found stuff  I'd forgotten I'd bought and stuff I don't even remember buying. I've come to the conclusion I need to be more ruthless, I mean what can you do with a 1" piece of skirting board, please don't send answers on a postcard otherwise I'll end up rescuing them from the dustbin.


A bit of mini work went on at the weekend as Steve went up to The Lakes for the shoot so I was left to my own devises. The punch needle is still in favour as projects are so quick to do, so I decided on a rug for the nursery

I've decided I need to start work on my dh again so today I am going to make a dressing gown for the bathroom and tonight after work I am going to make some more toys for the nusery.

Needle Punch Mania

A warm welcome to my latest followers.


With no caravan until March our weekends are now spent at home which means, for me, two whole days mini-ing. Yippee! I've really got the bug again with the needle punches and have been stabbing away all weekend. This is my latest effort, another bath-mat but totally different from my last one.

This one has gone on sale on  E-BAY.  My mind is working over time thinking about the possibilities of rugs or even carpets and stair runners. I think the next one will be a rug for the attic nursery in my dh.

I've also made a teapot today, which is for a Facebook friend in the USA, it is similar to this one. I'm off to paint it now, while watching Dancing on ice.
